Rex De Jaager, "The Rexpert," is retired from the U.S. Navy, and confesses that his friends and family thought he had lost his mind when he gave up a great second career as a high school teacher to open up an entertainment business. He admits he’d much rather be at a party or reception than act as referee at a perpetual spitball fight. After all, parties are full of fun, laughter, and—when he has anything to say about it—great music.

Curtis and I were across the hall from each other on Saturday night. He was entertaining a wild group of dual 40thbirthdays and I was doing a wedding reception. During the dancing portion of the evening we arranged to have our two parties exchange rooms for a few moments by having a “cross conga” I started my conga in my room and sent them on their way and he did the same. They merged in the hall and slapped hands as they exchanged rooms. One song later we sent them back. My wedding was so much fun. We had everything from the Irish Jig to lemon juggling. Dad gave a very nice toast.
